Gensec, it all depends on what the motivation is and what you do. I tried making the switch, bought a macbook pro last year. It was ok for doing most of the stuff i needed to do, including most of the apps i need to get things done, including terminal services to connect to servers for maintenance. But then i started losing the touch for M$ apps and was having trouble stepping users thru problem solving their issues. Sooo, sold the lappy. Now I do have a little mac-mini under my desk to play around with, but only for testing.
thanks tofi for the insight! ur always here to help. wallah i appreciate it.
i work in systems support so i get wayy too much of this ms $hit everyday in and out.
i've been wanting a mac for a while now, nothing special just taking it to class for notes, and heavy internet usage while on campus. other than that using it as a multimedia system, storing all my pics/vids and audio.
my m$ skill will be polished at work everyday so i guess i can live with a mac, i got one last year too, but ended up returning it the next day (that was stupid of me)
now the whole thing is should i wait (will prices fall?) or its gona be pretty much the same when the summer rolls around?
