After all the leaks and seepage and what not, there would be no doubt in anybody’s mind that our current ruling party, ruling elite and grade B, C and D class politicians are all corrupt.
They have different methods of corruptions and ways to hide it and reinvest it.
So the BIG question is, how this circus will end?

It will never end. Things can improve overtime but truly honest politicians are as rare as unicorns.

It will happen when "civil society" takes notice and that will over multiple election cycles. Like it or not, but musharraf gave pakistan free media aka television channels so it is up to them to figure it out.

Because they are representatives of people who have been elected by people to address and resolve issues. So criticizing is them is people's right if the politicians fail to deliver time and again. Politicians are employees of Pakistani awam who are paid off of the taxes paid by people.

Traitors. Ayoub Yahya Zia & Mush ruled more than politicians Kyani & Pasha were also practically ruling . Since killing of Liaqat they are real rulers , beorocracy is assisting them as puppets enjoying public money .

True dictators/military rulers should also be held accountable for any wrong doings. However, what makes politicians more relevant is because they are the face and foundation of the democratic system where they are elected by the people which makes them so called true representatives of the people which in turn makes them accountable first. Hence, they will be criticized if they are not doing their job for which they are elected for.

Liaquat Ali Khan appointed Ayub Khan as commander in chief, over a more senior Bengali officer. Bhutto promoted Zia as COAS, after bypassing several more eligible senior generals. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif personally promoted Musharraf to the rank of four-star general to replace Karamat, after bypassing more eligible General Ali Kuli, and General Khalid Nawaz.
Traitors are not these generals. Traitors are all those politicians who played favoritism and appointed wrong people to head the army. Shame on all our politicians. May they all go to hell?.
And bigger shame on educated people like yourself, who knowingly turn their face from the truth, because their loyalty is not to this country, but to a political party.
