No no, those lotion tissues don’t work. Rubbing Eucerin or Aquaphor does give some relief, but any other effective remedies?

oooh that gets really painful.. i switched to kleenex and it was better. i used jergens around that area and that helped alot.

put some petroleum jelly when you sleep..it gives long term relief.

I am so good with my vitamins and they do start off as allergies...excessive sneezing, watery eyes and runny nose...but this time they've pogressed to body aches, shivers and colds. More like a viral.

hey have you ever tried Air Purifiers for the room...There is this Honeywell one thats in Target.Allergist recommended and very reasonably priced. It helps a lot if you have nasal allergies.

I have a very good one Ask. You know, I've been well all year pretty much, just a few little issues here and there, but the last 2 months have been really bad. I thought I was perfectly OK then all of a sudden got sick again. Actually, we have had a lot of sick kids at the masjid where I volunteer. We sit and teach and they cough and wipe their noses. Poor kids. Some of them keep coming even though we've told the parents not to send kids with obvious symptoms.

Vaseline works always Niksik.. :) I've seen that a room humidifier really works.. my brother has sinus issues and poor thing he usually has a stuffy nose and is miserable.
Steam inhalations are a great thing too.. add a teaspoon of vicks to it!

Gina, last night I used a humidifier with Vick steam drops in it...I don't know why I don't use it more often because today I feel so much better, alhamdullilah.

Niksik, i get this too in the winter esp, and i use vaseline (petroleum jelly) every night and it really helps :)

It's the best thing! Makes breathing so much easier..
