When the Religious Do Wrong

When the outwardly religious people make mistakes or do wrong, what shud one infer from it.

I am always in confusion between the following two:

1- The religion shud not be blamed for mistakes of an individual.

2- If the religion does make a difference, then it shud bring the good out of people and if it does not then whats the virtue of religion.

Re: When the Religious Do Wrong

some people r not really religious - they just tend to deceive people by their outwardly look....

and even if one is religious, being a human he/she is always prone to making mistakes....

Re: When the Religious Do Wrong

Some people try hard to follow the religion but maybe not as true to it as it seems. See the religion is there for all of us to embrace... we need to make the personal choice of following it. No one except Allah knows what we are thinking when we are going up and down in ruku and sajdahs, eh!

And then even the most pious can make errors.. we are human after all.

Re: When the Religious Do Wrong

You cannot judge a book by it's cover - Just like that outwardly religious people may not be very religious.

The judgement is left to Allah - so we should not assume that a certain person is religious or not.

Everyone is human and human makes mistakes.
