When someone says "Muhammad".......

…everyone says “Salallaho Alaihe wa aalehi Wasallam”, either silently, or out loud…and rightfully so.

But honestly, when someone says “Allah”, how many of us say “Subhanahu Wa Taala” or “Jalla Jalaalohu” either silently or out loud?

Not many of us.

But then isn’t there a directive of the prophet(pbuh) about darood on his name?
And no such directive exists about Allah. But i have to agree it would be really really good to say some sort of zikr upon mention of Allah’s name.
Puts khashiyyat and taqwa into one’s heart.

True Ahmed...there is a directive in the Quran that whenever Prophets SAW name is mentioned, you should send durood on him.

On the same token, the whole Quran is filled with directives about praising Allah SWT, asking Him(SWT for maghfirah, praying to Him(SWT)....all our lives revolve around the love of Allah SWT. After all, we are answerable to Him and Him SWT alone.

Thanks for posting this…JazakAllah
