and its ur friends thiajaan (dad’s older bro) how do you call to do ufsoos to ur friends dad? What do u say? I suck at these type of things…and really want to know now…since lately my parents expect me to call and do ufsoos. I just don’t want to say anything wrong. So what do u guys usually say?

Theres not much u CAN say in a situation like that…jus saying “im sorry to hear that” and just telling the person “if u need anything just member ill b here for u” is enough…im sure ur friend would want to b left alone rather than attaacked by all these different people doing afsoos (at least i want to b left alone when one of my close people pass away) !

Its one of those many things in life that I really S U C K at :(
although from the depths of my heart I share the agony and pain - but just cant find words.
My normal practice is to go with someone - who takes the initiative for condolence - I just hug the guy - and sit quitely in a corner

i remember when my friends mom died..i didnt know wut to say so i avoided the situation..n when i finally did call..she was like “did u hear bout my mom?” i was like…crapppppp 
…the situation was worst!!
