well that i dont know. But I can tell you this..I checked my weight after striving for 15 hard minutes in the "bait-ul-khula" and it came in 10 lbs lighter...

10 lbs is an exaggeration.
Best time to take weight is before a meal, when you think your bowels are empty. Just to give you a good idea of what the actual body weight is.
But weight measuring only goes so far. Make sure to keep a record of your body measurements, and then watch how they rise and fall as you diet/exercise. Its a better indication, although its tedious because you have to tape measure your every angle.

I have heard from various people that the best time to check your weight is first thing in the morning.

When dealing with weights, what difference would a lb or so make.
All I would suggest is to use the electronic scale, rahter than the one with the needle, because I would hate to see a weighing scale turning into a propeller of a plane.

Up till now I always thought your morning weight was the correct one
but since I have been very weight conscious lately I wanted to make sure.

I already use a digital scale. Gives me the exact reading.

Also be sure to take all of your clothes off including the undies before checking your weight...that will give the most correst measure... :)

I've always heard in the morning, after you've done your big message. And it's not really necesary to check it every week.
Also some article said that for women the true danger area is when you measure your waist and it's more than 80 cm and with men the risk area is over 90 cm.

I dont bother with scales, your clothes should tell you whether you've gained or lost weight.
Scales will always vary a few numbers here and there before and after food, its common sense.
Try drinking a bottle of water and weighing yourself.
Its scary. :D

When you first start drinking a lot of water, your weight won't go down immediately, because your body doesn't let the water go. You should still keep drinking the water, even if you don't see a difference at first, because water is essential to burn the fats quicker.
Then later, after a few weeks something you will notice something in your weight. When one starts to excersize and/or watch food, the first three months are not worth checking weight. You won't notice any real difference and that can be discouraging.
Once your over the first period you can start checking your weight regularly. You will notice more differences thenn. The first period is the hardest.

I have already noticed my clothes getting looser....
but it's just so nice to see those numbers going down on the scale. :)
