when should a "superstar" be kicked out?

When he does not perform for sometime? There are times when a “class player” is out of form, when a bowler can’t find rhythm, how long should we stick to that batsman/ bowler? We suffered badly in World Cup due to loss of Inzi’s form, bowlers not able to find rhythm.

Our highly over-rated bowlers are unable to find rhythm MORE often than finding one.

Shouldn’t we be rotating ANY batsman/bowler who looses rhythm/form after 2 (or some other number of) matches so we keep them on toes to perform it or have rest?

Good Idea and concept,

Unfortunately wont work.

Too much Politics in Cricket (In India as well as Pakistan)

I thought that was the text book drill pakistan have been following so far
Mohd Zahid / Umar Gul / Shabir Ahd / Fazal-e-Akbar/ Junaid zia /
there is a line up already enough to put opposition on the toes as it is.
You seems to have short range sight upto your nose tip only.
You'r so lucky to have a far vision like this. All you have to do is to touch yr nose aur dedaar-e- cricket ho gaya :D

So Mohammad Zahid, Umar Gul, Shabir, Fazal-e-Akbar, Junaid Zia are all "super-stars" thats why they 've been sidelined because they have been replaced by "in-form" bowlers like Sami, Shoaib, Razzaq?

Re: Re: Re: when should a “superstar” be kicked out?

Mohd Zia – prone to injuries
Fazal- e-akbar - saw him in england , ironically too much swing was his drawback  he should have been playing NZ aur Australia.
Junaid Zia - He’s still in the game I would grade him nxt to Akram soon
Umar Gul - will be fun to watch on English wickets
Shabir - Lankey predictable and orthodox bowler normal class ++

Pakistan probbly is the only side in the world who has such a tremendous wealth of youngsters waiting in the wings. a selector’s night mare I would say, I know wat I’m talking about :snooty:
