and what are those younger sisters doing? sitting around and doing nothing? if so, then yes i feel sorry for him..but what if they are faarigh b/c the families wont let them work or get any education? then why blame the girls?
also, dont take the stuff u see in life 4 way too seriously, yes some may seem obsessive and a simple wedding is not "welcome" there but that's only a part of their personality that you see...it's not fair to judge an entire population just b/c of a few posts on an internet forum ...
I didnt read ALL the responses here but I do have an observation. THIS is a public forum on which one can post probs and questions pretty anonymously. So you will tend to hear "the bad" and asking for advice far more than you will hear "the good"...cause why post otherwise yeah? I mean, I used to get a little bit beat up when I posted too much about how happy I was and what a great hubby I have...people were like, ok barf, we dont wanna hear it. Bring on the down-n-dirty, the eveil, the nasty problems, THATS what we wanna hear ALLLLL about.
SO take it all with a grain of salt yeah? The good is out there in numbers. You're just not allowed to talk aboit it lol!

There is so much negativity regarding marriages among women that they have their manipulation agendas set up way before they say yes to a proposal. This immediately takes the fun and any chance of love out of a new prospective relationship. All men can do then is to be patient and hope that wives realize that negativity doesn't help.
We sisters and Daughters are very Greatful Aliyish:) some families dont like their Daughters and sisters going out to work bcoz of self pride or watever reason.......then it's the fathers/sons responsibilty then is it not?
i think the best thing a Father can give his Daughter is Education and tht's what desi's lack
I think along with education, they should give their girls confidence and encourage them to go out and utilize their education in their desired fields....
You should not judge everyone by what you see in an online forum.
Every individual is different.All sorts of people are present in this world.The people you see on here are just a small percentage of our desi population.

and btw, although i don’t participate in this forum as much, but what i have noticed is that all these poor girls are only trying to make sense of their relationships and complaining is not the driving force behind these questions but they are genuinely seeking guidance because they want to fix things.
men and women react very differently when things go wrong, men go into hibernation and women seek answers.
