And most here are not very judgmental or cynical and want to offer sincere advice , honest opinion, creative criticism and want other fellow humans to get rid of their misery and live a happy healthy life. They want to share secrets of their happy life.

Hmm … Let see. If they lie once in a while/occasionally then I give them benefit of doubt and avoid getting them in a situation which provokes them to lie.
However If they are habitual liars then I keep them at arm’s length.

At this point in my life, I dont allow people who lie or are unreliable to get to me.
I know it sounds harsh but life is too short to get hung up on people who dont matter.

Here I'll differ from some views from other.
First I'll say Chameli is not a bad person.
If she say negative things about ppl it doesn't mean she is a bad person or all the time saying -ve stuffs about ppl.

You can't tell truthe about bad behaviour about your SIL because it's okay if she does that she won't go to hell. You can't complain about her here. PPL will say you are -ve it's okay if someone does something wrong with you.
Now my point is. Why ppl do this. If someone tells truth. complain and whinn.

PPl let her say all -ve things and advice in a very friendly way if you want to otherwise just say thay is wrong aur unko aisa naheen karna chahyay. Only this way it will make her +ve.

What I saw my Aunt was telling something truth. Someone said you telling truth that person will become mad she said. She won't kill me for telling truth. I'm not scared of her. lol
Where I don't want to tell truth I keep quiet. It saves me from lieing.
I say ppl when they insist do you want to listen a lie or truth. Whey they say truth I say I don't want to tell you truth so don't force me to lie. That way you will become gunahgar by forcing.
What I do when ppl lie to me. I instead of asking more and saying you are lieing I keep quiet and don't ask anything in order to stop them to lie. To save them from more lieing.
