When people ask me why to use a tanning lotion or the purpose. I say using a lotion speeds up the tanning process, keeps the skin moisturized and healthy looking etc. what exactly do you tell them?
They always say that it is “so bazzare” that it speeds it up, rather then not using a tanning lotion..

I’ve had it drilled into me from as long as I can remember by my mum to wear a strong SPF. Every time I go to the beach I can still see her in my head going: 
So while tans can look very nice, it’s really important that you protect your skin as well!
