LAHORE: An apex court here has issued orders on late Monday to arrest again the two lawyers, charged with rendering torture on an ASI police, Geo news reported early on Wednesday.
According to sources, two lawyers Nadeem Butt and Mian Muhammad Hafeez, shot live on Geo news camera while perpetrating torture on an ASI police, were later arrested and held captive in Islam Pura police station.
Subsequently, a large number of their relatives along lawyers thronged police station and get them set free from police custody through use of pressure.
Following their release, police have rearrested them on compliance of apex court’s orders and shifted the same to an unidentified location on a police van later on early Wednesday morning, sources claimed.
Investigation and operation police have had rising rows for release of arrested lawyers, sources concluded.
