Eid is not a Club or a shop …you cant go there

I am not having any new clothes this time. Enough is enough. Besides I didn;t wear one of my outfits from prev eid so i can always wear that.

Here upto 7 people pay for a cow. On Eid, someone goes to the farm and slaughters it and brings it back and the shares are distributed to those who paid for them. Maybe you can try that.

I know its probably a bit early to start asking about it but I will need to book a day off and I need to give plenty of notice especially as we have got some time off over christmas. So anyone got a rough idea of the date. Thanx.

It will be either on 10th or 11th January 2006 according to a few websites I’ve visited. The exact date will be known around 1st January, because Eid-ul-Adha will be 10 days after the sighting of the moon.
So I guess the best thing would be to take both days off. 8th/9th Jan. is a weekend anyway. So you’d have 4 days off then.
