When is the right time to select a school for my daughter!!!

Nowadays everybody is asking me which school i have chose for my daughter…and i go blank as i havn’t thought of it till now…

My question is when is the right time to select a school as she is going to be 2 in feb…also which schools do you guppies recommend in Lahore? also recommend me any pre school…

My daughter is turning two this month and my dad has asked me the same. I hadn't planned to send her till the Fall. Hmmm...

do share with me which school you think are good in studies as ia m totally blank everyone suggest the school in which their kids are going i am confused :S

I started sending my daughter to a play group at 2 years. She is now 2 years and 2 months now Masha Allah but as per my experience kids should not start school before 3 years of age.

diamond why do you think kids should not start school before? is there any affect on children?

IMO they can not talk at this age and hence can not express themselves and if there is any mistreatment in the school or something about the school that is bothering them the kids can not communicate

My daughter will turn 2 years next month. Im planning to send her school in fall. Im also looking for schools these days.. but i need a play group close-by, in our area there are many schools but they don't accept under 3. She is nt speaking yet so many ppl around are telling me not to send her to school now.

Wow...in the US, kids don't start school enter they enter kindergarten at age 5, unless you want to spend $$$ and send them to a pre-k (which is not offered in all public school districts!) private school, daycare, montessori......

actually now universal pre k which is a free pre k program being offered in many states.

I think you should observe different school settings, see which one best meets your needs, and you can see your child blooming in that environment.

Not in Texas, all these budget cuts this year have forced most ISD's to majorly cut back Pre-K programs.. :-(

Here in Saudia Arabia we have to pay for education as welll. Good edu is pretty expensive here.
