to check/realize/find out who your true friends are?
If you ask me: It doesn’t matter in how much need of anything you are, it doesn’t matter if your true friend cannot provide you money, food, shelter, or whatever physical thing you may need, what matters is that a true friend will **always **be there to support you (if not monetarily, then at least verbally) when you are in need of support. A true friend will never laugh at your bad circumstances or join others in laughing at you and/or kicking you when you are down.
I true fren don’t stabb in your back. A true fren feels your pain as if it is his/her pain. I must say, I am very fortunate to have such a fren, i dunno i am capable of being her fren or not…But whenever i needed her she was always there. Now that she is away from me, she still keeps me in her prayers…
It is indeed hard to find GOOD TRUSTWORTHY frens nowaday.
I think u find out who ur true friends r in ur darkest hours. The times when u thought the whole world was against u, but that one friend (or many), was there to hold ur hand and walk u thru it. Sometimes, u have to have fallen so deeply, to realise who is and who is not a friend to u. Honesty...i believe that's the foundation for a friendship. And i wud rather have no friends, than to have a group of ppl around me who gossip, backbite and in general, r not there for me. A person who is there for u no matter wot, at any time of the nite and giving u all the emotional support u need, that's a true friend to me. They really r hard to find, so when u do, hold on to them tightly.
4 me true iz the one who alwayz laugh with u, try to cheer up when u r down.....alwayz jokez around u, but when sum1 try to bother u for n-e thing ur best friend should b the one who stand in front of ya
And yes its true. To me FRIEND is a very special word. Only a few people deserve to be called friends. and those who have good friends are very lucky ones.
True friends are those who come and stand by you when the world is crashing around you. For example, when my father-in-law passed away in the hospital, only one of my husband's friend's was told. In a matter of an hour 10 guys showed up at the hospital ready to help in any way possible. Hubs' best friend, who was working in another province at the time, somehow found out and flew down for the janaza and then flew back to work. These are the type of people that I would classify as true friends.
I am so glad to say i have couple of true friends but this one friend of mine. I know no matter where we are in the world and i can pick up a phone and call her. we have been friends for a long time now.

i agree with shikra true friends are those who are there without any condition. Thats the only relationship you chose in this world and rest are already set for you.
**I only have one person who is trustworthy and would never let me down… she would stand by me and lend me a hand to walk out of situations, i can’t handle on my own… she helps me reflect upon life and make decisions.. we both have a ‘killer’ understanding … i see myself in her.. Masha Allah (nazar na laggay) but the best thing is i can be myself with her… i can carry on with my waffeling, but i’ll stop…
to check up on a girl who says she really loves u....umm tell one of ur close friends who u trust to prank call her or bump into her somewhere in person and let him ask her for her # etc..and see what the reaction is! U'd know the answer to how true she is to u :)

KRD You are right. It's better to have no friends at all than "friends" who join others to laugh at you and to pick on you. Those are not friends. I would rather have enemies than have such friends who back stab you :)
are you serious? Why are you even with the girl in question if you doubt her put her through these ‘tests’?
Shikra, a true friend is someone who sticks by you through the good times and the bad times. I would rather have a few friends who I know will always be there for me when things get rough than a lot of friends who are more fickle.
