I think ISI/Military just demonstrated their ‘resolve’ by not returning him…and as soon as military gets some ‘package’ or something from americans…
he will be let go…
don’t forget that kiani n pasha were the very persons responsible for handing over all those gitmo pakistanis…the very people who were involved in ‘selling’ pakistanis to americans…
Re: when is raymond davis gonna go back?? your guess..
DG ISI works under the order of COA... back then, Mushy the American Puddle was in charge, NO DG ISI can say no to COA... this is what Kiyani said to Americans, when they said that ISI is cooperation, he told them that ISI works under him, so if they accuse ISI for something then they accuse Kiyani...
Having said that , RAD is blessing in disguise, it is win - win situation for Pakistan, if Pakistan doesn't release him then as US have threaten, it can break ties with Pakistan ( although on grounds he cannot afford to commit such stupidity, but in US wisdom seldom prevails), this will take Pakistan out of this messy war against terrorism and we can concentrate on re-building with our politicians and officials forced to inclined away from US-Dependencies...
if Pakistan release him, then the public pressure under the sane leadership will wipe out all the Altaf Hussains, Sharifs, Zardari and walies from the Pakistan's political face and a nationalist govt can be formed who'll make decision in interest of Pakistan.
However, i want to for the releasing of RAD... as it will trigger the operation wipe-out...
As for date, i think it would be by the end of March...
Re: when is raymond davis gonna go back?? your guess..
Somebody execute the scumbag and be done with…
I am never going to accept anything less than a fair deal, either life for life or eternal damnation. America and thier foriegn policy can go to hell and Pak-swamp life politics can be washed out with it so far as i’m concerned.
Even if Davis goes scot free, it will not be the end of the matter… it will be just one more excuse for blood.
Re: when is raymond davis gonna go back?? your guess..
That is a weakness of our people and in particular our politicians, as Muslims and as the rightfull people of a nation we have the right to stand up for ourselves, nobody has the right to bully anyone in this world.
If the people of Pakistan dont wake up after this there will be a reckoning… what you see happening in the Middle East will be nothing compared to the horror of what may take place in Pakistan.
It’s time the people were united, I dont care how, be it secular or religous, democratic or monarchic… Pakistan needs someone who can stand up to the pressure.
Allah hee Pakistan ko bachaay hummare begairat leaderon ko kuch bee naheen atha! Pakistaan Zindaabaaad!
Re: when is raymond davis gonna go back?? your guess..
if the military/isi releases him on their own terms i dont think there should be any problem in that! but i personally think any event like that can destabilize the government; so the army/govt will be keeping an eye on all this.

whatever respect army has regained under kiyani after mu$h, most of it will go down the drain with this single step

Precisely the Pakistan army's first and most important duty is to serve Pakistan and it's people. Regretably it is also a tool to be used by foriegners but this is a problem of our own making... the people need to fix themselves and the army. The Army of any nation has a duty to it's people which makes me very unhappy when an army shootsupon it's own people and such actions are condemnable.
Kiyani is not the best man but he is steady, if he wavers to US pressure the Taliban will eat him alive, he should stand up to the Taliban and to USA... to the best of his ability or step aside if he cannot do his duty.:)

I agree with you, and he has a difficult job to do! perhaps this was one good decision of Musharraf to make kiyani the COAS. Anyways, lets see what happens during the next couple of days, as i believe the time has now come when we start pulling out ourselves from this dirty american war as it has given us nothing but bomb blasts and terrorism; after that we need to start rebuilding the country! the balochistan issue needs to be addressed on priority as well as that gets ignored.
Re: when is raymond davis gonna go back?? your guess..
It is interesting to see that some so called 'Pakistani' leaders sit back and dont dare say a thing on this topic, clearly shows how sincere they are to the country.

Indeed a most lammentable thing it is... :(
You know Kaffir leaders may well be cruel and stupid in some cases but they thought the best for thier own kaum... at least in that they are better than our own leeches who have no zaat whatsoever.
