I've heard of these machines. Make a mistake and you would have to start all over again or worse yet use a product called 'White-Out' which was like paint. You would 'paint' over the mistake, let it dry, and then type over it with the correct letter. The thing is though the White-Out 'paint' was bright and if there was a spot on a page it would stand out like an Arab in Reagan airport on 9/14/2001. In addition it had a very, very, sloppy look to it...actually makes me physically ill thinking about it. Such barbarics back then, I wouldn't be surprised if the people who used those machines ate their own young when hungry, bunch of sicko's.

Actually the type-writer I had at my work ...had a delete button in it. I never got a chance to look how it works.
