yeah....the ID card is really helpful although my visa is still valid for like another 4 years. I also applied for my ID and prob will get it with 1-2 months.
I didn’t really care at first but when my dad applied on his behalf and for my mom and got their ID cards, he also recommended that I do it. I have only seen 2 different lines. One for pakistani passport and one for foreign passport.
well...lines don't matter at all at the airport. kisi bhi line main ghuss jao.
but normally...so far, up until i get to lahore, they ask me about my canadian ID. when i get to lahore, i have to show the whole jumble of things. it's like if you have the pakistani, they treat you like the rest and hopefully not go through ur carry on and stuff (fingers crossed)

Actually for me, the only pain is the long line for showing ur passport/ticket at counter. The rest is P.O.Cake
oh that…that’s to be expected. and if ur a female…don’t bother looking for a women’s only line. men stuck in there butttttttttt if you are one…well it’s either you’ll be hassled…or you might be allowed to cut the line
Only for this reason what I usually do is that if I get a seat in the middle or somewhere at the back of the plane, I just relax and sit in the plane listening to my iPod until everyone leaves. After everyone leaves, I just wait for a little bit and then go. This way, by the time I get to the counter, nearly half of the ppl have already gone.
see...it works if you are a guy. not if you a girl. people start to wonder stuff. my advice: keep the carryon in front of you, and your shoulder bad behind you. that way...it keeps a good distance between people. no "accidental" bumping
