Often I get to hear couples say “mujhe toh abhi tak realize he nahi hua”. It happened with my bhai bhabi as well, they didnt feel they are engaged & later married for a long time. I used to make fun of them but it later happened with me as well when i got engaged - had no realization, no feeling. Maximum i felt it was when he visited at home and i use to get a little feeling but thats it no sense of realization.
This has happened with many people. When did you realize that now you’re engaged or married and this is THE person?

I am still there, it hasn't quite hit home yet. It is probably because there isn't much of a change in my life yet because it's not like I've moved out of my parents home, and I still wake up when I want to and sleep when I want to, lol.

It really hit my sister that she’s engaged when her devar called her “bhabi” for the first time on the phone… she was in shock.. “wth, he just called me bhabi! BHABI?! ewwwww”

I didn't really feel anything to begin with. There were a few little moments like BarbCue's sister, I reacted in the same way :). But over time I keep having crazy overwhelming thoughts about it & then return to not acknowledging it at all.

The engagement period was v little just 1.5 months and i had so much to do, fiancee used to call me a lot n we used to chat ,at those times i felt engaged.
As fr being married ,when the in laws made their first AITRAAZ, .
