When did you look at your hone-wala/wali spouse and just KNOW, that’s it, they’re the one!

? What did they do/say that made you come to this conclusion?

You never really KNOW. I married her because she made me and when ever I try to divorce her she says "Oh you want to leave me do you? FINE, LEAVE!! But I'm coming with you!"

I was unsure until the morning of our nikkah. It used to vary from 50%-99% sure that he was the one, depending on the situation. However, when I was at the masjid and he said vows to me (totally unexpected), I just knew. Now, I just know.. I can't describe how or why, but I just do.

I knew when he came to my house to apologize to my Ammi for calling our house at 2 am (he meant to send me a page…yes…pagers…we are *that *old, and he dialed our home landline instead )

Anyone who could hold his own against the dragon lady that was my
Ammi was a keeper…he won us both over that day

I can't pin point the exact moment.

He told my dad he would take care of me and he's done that ever since that day.

Usually you know it in first couple of days . If you need an excuse to know that , then you are just imposing it on yourself .

After I did istikhara for about 3 weeks and got a weird dream which I didn't understand the meaning of, then when I related it to someone and they explained the meaning of it to me it was like the penny dropped and I knew that I was going to say yes. At that moment I kind of broke down in tears and went to do wudu and prayed two naffal to Allah for answering my prayers so beautifully.
