The Multan city district Nazim has purchased his personal plane at Rs. 82 crores. It does not wonder me at all a Nazim having such a “open known” wealth. The point is not how he gained or what is his source of income. The point is, is his this wealth minimum Rs. 82 crore known in the record of Income Tax and has he paid correct income tax on it. The leaders, the columnist, the writers, the TV talk shows are painting a picture as if a true Islamic revolution has come in Pakistan and now the joint Government of PPP and PML(N) and ohters have come only in the true honest service of the common man and the country which in fact is not correct if one sees the postings of bureaucratis, looters coming back, courts dropping cases in hours. The speed with which today our courts are deciding cases within days and hours, we have earned a new honour to be entered in the world record books as the nation delivering just on complicated cases within hours - Decisions: All Dropping Cases. Since today is real “peoples government” hence not at all I can raise a stupid question if the Multan Nazim has paid income tax proportionate to “known” Rs. 83 crore. However what is puzzling me is that if Multan Disrict Nazim has purchased a plane, then we should soon hear Karachi City Nazim a MQM stalward would be flying his own private airline.
