How does when strengthens his imaan during an extremely difficult time ? How does when put all his faith and iman in such a time? Especially when nothing seems to be going your way and your Duas are not being accepted ?
Re: when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear
Make lots of zikr, constantly. Try and get up for tahajud. Keep.Keep making dua , it will be accepted in time.
Above all , keep reminding oneself that life is temporary, nothing is as important as it seems expect for our relationship with Allah and eventually everything ends.
Re: when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, “When is the help of Allah?” Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near. (214) surah Al Baqarah
Assalamualaikum warahamtullah

when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear

Re: when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear
AsSalaamo Alaikum,
Never think that none of your duaas are being accepted. If you ask of Allah sincerely, you can be sure that inshaAllah it has been heard, and recorded because the beauty of this deen is there are no intermediaries; it’s just you and The Creator.
Quran has mentioned that we are of a weak and hasty nature. We cave in to our nafs every now and then, and we expect results right away. That’s just our nature. The reward is in displaying sabr against this, and through this struggle you increase in taqwa. We know what to ask for because we feel that’s what we need. It’s like speeding around the corner without knowing what may await us soon when we turn; Allah knows which duaas would benefit us at what points in life.
And the duaas which are not fulfilled in this life to the extent that we want them to be fulfilled, then they’re kept as a token of mercy for the Akhirah when there’s a very high likelyhood that we’ll need every duaa, every good deed, every bit of mercy that may come our way. Wouldn’t it be best if we were able to remain patient through the duration of this life, while multiplying our reward a countless number because of the virtue of patience, but content with the fact that those duaas may become a way to dodge hellfire and enter Jannah?

Ameen to your duaa Twinklestar. Duaa of a needy person is accepted, so keep us all in your duaas too. To be conscious of the level of imaan is a good thing, it may be a sign of imaan itself because heedless do not worry about imaan.
Re: when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear
If you have asked Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala you have been heard. The beauty of this Deen is that it is all about means [Intermediaries], you can take these means to reach Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, never do we find Allah Ta’ala without means
Send Durood [intermediary] before or after dua, this has been recommended in the Sunnah [intermediary]
I recommend you do this, send Durood upon The Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam in abundance, and be receptive, and I emphasize be receptive to the improvement in your Iman. Be receptive to the input, and do not link your Iman to some of your worldly affairs
Look at this way. Your Iman is stronger then someone who denies waseela
Re: when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear
I don’t think that He would test us beyond that which we can bear, though it may feel that way when we are asking for something and our prayers are not answered.
Consider asking for ease in your struggles rather than a specific resolution.
As someone else has mentioned, we don’t always know which is the best situation for us in the future. Allah swt can see and knows which prayer to answer and which to set aside for now. So ask for mercy and His guidance rather than what you think is the best possible outcome.
Re: when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear
^ Sister Muzna said it …
No way should we think that Allah (SWT) tests us beyond what we can bear … That is to attribute unfairness on The Majesty, The Merciful, Allah (SWT) …
Surat Al-Baqarah [2:286] - The Noble Qur’an - ??? ???
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
People of tassuwwuf are systematically being trained to consider affliction as blessing … Mentally convert all predicaments that are out of your hands as if they were gems being showered on to you from heavens above. Don’t seek out the tests of Allah (SWT) but when they come pass them with flying colours …
Re: when Allah Swt tests you beyond what you bear
Alhamdulillah I am learning.
I am beginning to see trials as blessings because I remind myself that Allah swt is cleansing me here, in this world, where He has promised not to test me beyond my capabilities. If this is not His love then what else could it be?
