For my kaam walai clothes - I just got them back from the kaam wala, some sarees and some suits. When the tailor says that he can do “finishing” on the suits and dubattas, what does that mean? I am not in Pakistan at the moment - tying to give instructions from afar so can’t get him to show me an example. Does “finishing” mean the different coloured cloth they put under the dubatta and the kameez chalk etc.
I have my yellow mayoun suit that has silver and yellow kaam on it and I making a churidaar with it. I asked him to do the finishing with shocking pink and he says that I should use either silver or gold, as there is no hint of pink kaam on the suit. However, I’ve seen so many mehndi suits on the mehndi thread where girls have suits with all kinds of different colours used. Thoughts? Help someone!!
