As for not liking Muslims being in our roots, its something which holds true for everyone with respect to others who are not like you (could be different language or culture or food habits etc). So I am sure this dislike tendency is equally strong across people...just that for some reasons, followers of some religion tend to get disliked more (may not be justified at all but its a result of what people see at least some followers of the religion do)
As for Arabs...they certainly think even Muslims from sub-cont are inferior...am here for a while...as for KSA...the situation is bad as ever...it does impose itself on others,..
What's funny is that while Arabs think sub-continental Muslims are an inferior lot, it is the other way around with our desi Muslims. To them, an Arab is the ultimate realization of Islam. They probably stop to the point of worshipping them. Otherwise I can't understand how anyone could not condemn the gross violations that happen in Arab countries, esply KSA.
Come to think of it, the Saudi authorities are so mouth-foamingly bigoted that they won't allow Shias to take out processions except in one controlled city. If that's the treatment they can mete out to fellow Muslims, what to speak of kaffirs?
As innocent as your question may seem, it is laced with heavy sarcasm. You assume that Hindus simply worship animals etc. As I said, to us everything that God made is sacred. We see God in everything. So people venerate animals like cows because they are beneficial to society in many ways and thus they see God's character in them. It doesn't mean they are worshipping the cow. Same way because Muslims go around Kaaba stone seven times in Hajj, doesn't mean they are worshipping the stone. They are simply respecting the "karishma" of Allah.
But being insensitive to the religious thought of other religions and ridiculing their practices merely based on what appears at the superficial level is what I am against. And many Muslims are guilty of that. That Kaleem idiot says this is a Muslim board, so they can say anything but non-Muslims can't say anything against Islam. I say why don't you apply the same principle to Denmark? It is a Christian country. They will ridicule Muhammad all they can. You have no business being immigrants to question them. it is against islamic teaching to make any picture or painting or sculpture of the prophet PBUH or his family or close people and for the most part any living creature by hand. Many may disagree with that but first two parts of my sentence everyone agrees upon.
It has never been a part of hinduism which prohibited making nude pictures or sculpture of hindu God or goddess and you have no case against this painter making nude picture of your God.
