Thanx a lot Mahru!!!
This is exactly what I wanted to know......my lil drama queen is suspected of having this allergy....I hope its not the case...n if Allah forbid, it IS so then I can just hope she'll grow out of it.
Wagmans carries an entire line of products that is glutin free. You can get all the necessities from glutin-free bread to wheat for your roti and other ingredients desies use in daily cooking. One of my aunts in UK is allergic and gets to eat pretty much everything with a bit of fore-planning.
It might be harder to get the glutin-free stuff if you are in pakistan though.
Im mildly untolerant (is that the word?) of wheat. I expand like a balloon and swell. When I say im like a beached whale, I mean it. Its difficult to find things - i just found that there are lots of vegs etc that can be ubstituted in in the stead of ur other wheat products, soya stuff is good.
go to your local health food store and you'll find corn pasta products, cakes and different types of bread made from other types of flour ie ryebread, things made from millet, sorghum, rice potatoes can be part of the diet
