^ Very unlikely that zombies would ever get aboard a ship, especially an old fashioned schooner with a high deck and moored in a deep water port. For starters if they are the traditionally slow moving shuffling zombies then they would not have any way of getting the crew to lower the gangplank and gain access to the ships main deck.

Suppose the Zombies were more agile and cunning they would have to persuade the skeleton crew (no pun intented, its just a term for the under strenth crew, nromally 3 out of 20 men or so) to help them which if we suppose they did and then killed the crew, said Zombies would be temporarily in control of the ship.

However great thing about the open sea is zombies cannot sail a vessel and if they by some mircale could do that then they wouldn’t be zombies at all. Now about the no weapons bit… seriously??? I migh be a very changed man who no longer thinks Violence is the first port of call…

but damn if theres anything I know really well its how to imporvise weapons… Zombies still dont stand a chance
