Well I think a zombie apocalyse is allready here, just instead of walking dead who try and eat you… the walking dead are just slaves to the serpents in power.

However in the case of a classic George Rommero Zombie apocalypse I’ve got it all figured out. I take my fammily and anyone else that I can save onto a delightful sailing ship. Now I live in a rural area so assuming a Zombie outbreak most likely would take place in a city I could easily drive along the motorway to the coast and avoid most of the major concentrations of zombies. Once aboard ship we can sail out to sea and either shelter in the nearest nonaffected nation or if the worst scenario the whole world is full of the virus then we will sail between islands and live off the land.

Naturally for protection at once the greatest survival rifle would be that most reliable of Soviet exports the humble AK, but such a noisy weapon could attract more zombies in a city area so my advice for others would be utilise heavy crossbows becuase they are silent weapons and use shotguns for close work and blades with a heavy broad tang for up close and personal.

Now as I understand the good thing with being on a ship is there is very little chance of Zombies getting to you especially when you reach the open seas and so the chances of survivng become very high.

However if you live in a city your going to have a much harder fight. Best of luck to you comrades if World war z does happen then.
