I once recorded this message for fun purpose:
Missed call se patta lag jaata hai ke kis ne call kee hai, phir message chorne ka faida? Do rupe kaun bharre ga message sun ne ke?
I actually prefer to have voice mail and it's free with cingular. Yes I do see the missed calls but I am too lazy to call them back. Therefore I don't return the missed calls unless someone left me a message saying what it's about and whether it's urgent or not. Otherwise, I assume it's not urgent and they can keep calling me back until I answer it.
Many a times I recieve calls from unknown (to me) numbers. I always call them back, but its hard to find out who it is that called and the purpose of their call.
I feel both caller id and voice mail are important.
Hey Sadiyah i use 2 say my name on voice mail message but
sometime's i got blanc call so i swith my cellphone off so my husband said
to me if u swith ur cellphone off and the caller calls u he will know ur name,
So it's better to not say ur name on voicemail.
