I love Mughal era too. I like Moorish era in Spain and also during Saladin's rule in Jerusalem around 12th century I guess.

Now those could be termed the Golden age of Islam in terms of Wealth I guess. I agree with you Saladin was a very astute and wise man and the World could do with more men like him these days he was very much the archtype hero of Islamic culture.

they were actually muslims but at school we were just taught about them being moors

^ Yes very True in fact Spain was invaded several times by various Muslim forces but by the 14th Century several dynasties were long established in the Iberian Peninsula.
