Re: What's your Dream team?

Shareefudin Pirzaada as Law Minister...... ooops...just kidding!

Nightmare for this setup = Mr. Big Arm as Opposition leader and Sher Afgan as Photocopier.

Re: What's your Dream team?

In a country such as our good honest men like Justice Wajihuddin and Imran will never do well.
Funny the MQM crowd doesnt support a good honest man like Wajihuddin on ethnicitity but they will do it for a crook and tyrant like Mushy

Re: What’s your Dream team?

:hehe:

Re: What's your Dream team?

Well let's make sure this time around we make way for folks like these.

Re: What's your Dream team?

Read the 1948-1954 history and you will learn how well Liaqat, Nazimuddin and other prominent ML leaders did together. Muhajirs are worst enemies of themselves and deserved what Ayub/Bhutto did to them. IMO.

Re: What's your Dream team?

I strongly disagree with that. Because it is a bigoted statement bro. How can we generalize about a group of even 1000 people let alone millions?

And they are Urdu, I don't think most even like to call themselves mohajir as it's a nonsensical term. So these Urdu form Karachi are very patriotic. Look at our news anchors, actors, singer and entertainers are from that robust, educated and productive community. Many of the patriots who protested Mush's govt. are from Khi as well.

I understand that you have a point to make, but please respect our fellow countrymen. I do know how it feels if one's own people are slighted.

Re: What's your Dream team?

While I wouldnt make that statement about mohajirs, there are many patriotic liberal minded educated and tolerant mohajirs who have helped build the country.... I must say that the mohajir political elite (MQM) have done a great, great disservice to the nation with their betrayal to support Mushy on what amounts to basically ethnic grounds.

I think this is something that other Pakistanis may never forgive.
And like I said yesterday the MQM should always remember regardless what happens to Pakistan they represent a group that is <50% of the population of Karachi.
Do they really want to be stabbing the rest of the nation in the back the way they are?

Re: What's your Dream team?

MQM is not Urdu and vice versa. Most Karachites have disenchantment with MQM. A tiny clique should not become the foly of a people. Pakistan has nothing to forgive to Urdu people. They have done very well in this country and inshallah will continue to work for its prosperity.

Re: What's your Dream team?

I am talking about leadership and support, specially people who migrated (Wajih, Mush were born in India), in reply to the poster above. The early examples are of course from the Muslim League of 40s/50s, where majority of the top leadership was from that origin. They fought to each other, did not support and resulted in losing leadership to ghost leaders that handed over the country to military.

So don't expect Urdu speaking to support any other leader by majority. They are blinded by MQM at the moment.

Re: What’s your Dream team?

Altaf Hussain: Ministry of Coal Excavation :rotfl:

Re: What's your Dream team?

Agreed on both points, in no way is MQM analgous to urdu speaking people, but the party does represent them on the political front.
Teh urdu speaking have done a great deal for Pakistan. Unfortunately like I said should the nation survive the coming crisis (I doubt it myself) the MQM's support of Mushy will never be forgotten.

Re: What's your Dream team?

lol @ spock.

Re: What's your Dream team?

I don't think that's true anymore. Even if some Urdu votes for MQM, it's still not grounds to doub their loyalty to Pakistan. Urdu people like oher peoples in Pakistan have had shortcomings I agree, but I don't think they are That prejudiced or jaundiced by ethnocentrism.

Re: What's your Dream team?

Well bro than it is up to us, to remind ppl for the sake of safety, prosperity and happiness of our Karachite countrymen.
