What's your Body type?

I came across this article that discusses the various body types rather than the typical 4 (hourglass/pear/top heavy/straight)

Can you spot your figure? And for the image consultants here, what would you suggest for each body type?

Re: What's your Body type?

I think that nothing of them have me right. Maybe i'm a goblet without the generous tummy.. top heavy, broad shoulders but my arms are small and my legs are skinny and my booty is avg nothing too big or super flat.

V-necks are a must for people that have a more well endowed frame. The color blocking contrast of a camisole under a v-neck creates a slimming look. Also when you are top heavy and you don't hve a big stomach it's important to make sure your clothing is well tailored and fitted around the waist. For example at a fashion show I was given a flared out anarkali to wear. I hated it because I felt like a whale hiding in a tent. My stomach and the side of my stomach were hidden so from a profile view I looked as wide as my chest was...which was no the case. Flared outfits need to be fitted through your ribs maybe an inch under that and then flare so that you don't look like a pregnant whale.

Also when you have a fuller chest it's important to stay away from boatneck tops, horizontal stripes and turtlenecks that will only make you look bigger than you are and kinda chubby. Finally invest is a good supportive bra that can keep the ladies up and perky... nothing worse than looking saggy. I saw something on tv where they gave women a bra makeover. A lot of the well endowed women needed a better bra to lift them. Once they did that it showed off the sides of their stomach a lot more. The thinnest part of a lady's stomach area is always her ribcage, accentuate that with belts or make sure shirts and kameezs are fitted and you should be fine.

Another article about these 12 body shapes. I remember there being a quiz somewhere on the Internet that you could take and it would tell you your body shape.

Personally, I think I’m think I’m a ‘Skittle’, ‘Cello’ or ‘Pear’.

Re: What’s your Body type?

Pear :hinna:

Re: What's your Body type?

Top heavy, sadly

Re: What's your Body type?

^ this!

Plus if u're busty avoid frills and anarkali's that are too fitted. as well as 'kaam' around the chest/bust area. If u're a pear-shape, avoid short kameez's or one's that really cling to u're hips, single color kameez's look great on pear-shaped figures. If u're tall and u're problem area are u're hips then a fitted top with a flared 'daman' would draw attention away from u're hips and tummy area, but if u have broad shoulders and are busty it will make u appear even more top heavy and 'stalky' is u're not very tall.
