because bush chainy and rumsfield made huge mistake in iraq now everybody is weakened and cannot go after NoKo. Kim is a unreliable playboy typpe of person and nuclear is very dangerous for all regions surrounding of NoKo including Japan, China, India, Pakistan, BD, Srilanka, So.Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia etc.

The city of Seoul is close to the DMZ. If a conflict breaks out, thousands of North Korean artillery pieces could drop hundreds of thousands of shells onto Seoul, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians in the first hours. The only way to prevent those deaths is for the US to nuke the artillery sites within minutes of the beginning of a conflict, (hoping the fallout is directed north).
The US is not scared of the North. The US realizes that a war would immediately have unacceptable levels of human loss to an ally. The US would not lose, South Korea would lose.

Heck, we lost 1,000 troops battling a small number of Taliban terrorists in Tribal Areas......
And lastly, USA ground troops are tied up in Iraq but not their 600 Fleet Naval Forces nor their 10,000 Fleet Air Force.......
American Naval and Aerial Bombardment plus with South Korean Ground Forces are more than enough to take out North Korea
