Because as Pakistanis…we dont seem to have an issue with getting down and partying when it comes to a mehndi or spending a million dollars on a wedding or whatnot. Guess what? They’re not Islamic either. THEY’RE CULTURAL ADAPTATIONS FROM ANOTHER RELIGION AND CULTURE. Where in Islam is a bride supposed to wear a red outfit, a natt, jhoomer, tika, her weight in gold and take a furniture set with her? A Pakistani putting up a Christmas tree is the same as a Pakistani wearing a natt on her wedding. A cultural adaptation. A tree. A damn tree is what people have an issue with. People dont seem to have an issue with mayun, mehndi, jahaiz, bribery (which is Pakistani culture now), etc. But we’ve got an issue with a stupid tree.

Each n every bit of the abovementioned actions are EVIL…i hate all these petty stupid ‘rasams’…
