So I want to know…what’s with the mismanagement? Why am I hearing so many women who aren’t going to work complaining about household chores not being done…no home cooked meals, no groceries, no laundry, rooms in a mess, closets bursting with tons of useless stuff, etc etc etc…
But they are so busy…doing what? Why?

I feel like that all the time, in fact I even blogged about how frustrated I am at being frustrated....seeing as how its just the two of us, esp cooking feels like its so time consuming and stuff....

the other day, a stay at home lady with a picky 10 yo boy who will eat an omelet only for breakfast was telling everyone that it takes too much time too make one!
and that who wants to wake up that early … I was pretty much like 
cuz outside of keeping the kid fed she really doesn’t have much to do, as according to her, she gets cleaners twice a month and they order in or eat out 3-4 times/wk!
but the real kicker is that she then went on to complain at length of being bored!

I don't know...is it that easy though?
One of my friends is a stay at home mom...she has three kids...with one on the way. Her husband travels four days a week.
Her house is fairly organized, clean and her kids are always doing well. I don't know how she does it.
Then I have another friend who has one kid, stays home but has hired help for house cleaning because she cannot do it.
I think its all about what you have going on in your life. Everyone's situation is different isn't it? I used to knock the SAHM and wives a lot but now I don't. Sure, there might be some people who really are just plain old lazy but not all of them.

Some women just don't like doing housework (ME :( ... I hate the monotony of household chores. and I keep putting them off and then I get overwhelmed and panicky. I love my hubby and would love to maintain that perfect home for him but I am just not motivated to do all that. He doesn't do any tareef if the home is clean or if I am dolled up so I end up saying what the heck.
I used to be a lot better about cleaning and maintaining my home back home where we would have family members come over and had regular dinners and stuff too... Here toh koi bhee naheen aata...:(

same, my home is not ganda but just messy. I do maintain hygiene just stuff is scattered. And although even this should not be I am a person who needs external motivation to do a simple thing like getting out of my pjs. Same thing for cooking i love cooking for large gatherings and trying out new stuff, coz hubby gives no reaction no matter what i cook or how i cook it.

If I had it my way, It would be very simple. Woolen natural carpet, minimal furniture, limited utensils, some books, very few clothes, couple of pairs of shoes ...
We have gathered so much stuff in our life, and then we have to clean, and organize, and manage the stuff. It's a waste of time.

there are so many things to do - sleep in till 11-12, eat, watch dramas, talk endlessly on the phone talking and discussing the dramas . j/k
some people aren't into house maintenance stuff. It's alright. to each his own.

Most desis simply have too much stuff in their house, which inevitably increases your workload. Just de clutter your homes people, it will make housework much easier, trust me.
As someone already mentioned above, a little appreciation from the hubby is also helpful, it keeps the wife motivated!

actually if my hubby told me to clean up or that the house is dirty - I would. Sometimes if it doesn't make a difference to other people in the house - you just don't care to clean up either.
