There are ‘little’ things being done. There is this active group called ‘Zimmedar shehri’ aka ‘responsible citizens’ which actively cleans rubbish off main markets streets every weekend. And loads of ordinary citizens join in that effort. They have made quite an impression in that regard and their members are increasing. If only you were on fb, you would have been able to monitor their progress.
