not really…andesh means one who thinks…door andesh means the one has a far reaching thinking and when applied to figure of speech it means someone who has a foresight…
…now, Khair andesh mean someone who thinks well for others i.e. a well-wisher. i sometimes sign off my letter as:
faqat Khair andesh

there is a urdu word which is derived from Arabic…Urdu after all is a 60-35 Farsi/Arabic mixture.
