Lately I read so much about teenage girls in relationship with people late 30s and older (people who can be their fathers).
Why is this happening?
Am I wrong to think there is something wrong?
I would so much wish that they make friends and learn about relationships and people and find out about who they are, and what they want to become and pursue their dreams.
I don't see anything wrong with being married to someone who's much older or much younger? If Islam has allowed it then why should we object? Hazrat Khadija [ra] was 40 and the Holy Prophet [saw] was only 25 when they got married. When the prophet [saw] got married to Hz Aisha [ra], he [saw] was above 50 while she [ra] was less than 18 even.
From a website:
*
At the age of 25 he married Khadija (R.A.) who was 40 years old. Before her marriage to the Prophet she had been married twice and had children born out of these unions. The Prophet remained wedded to her for full 25 years and all his children except Ibrahim (born to Maria, the Copt) were born to her. Their married life was a model of conjugal happiness, and deep affection.
The Prophet did not marry any other wife till Khadija lived.

I think we need to stop focussing on society and start focussing on Islam.
