What's up with GS lately?

I don’t know if it’s just me or if this is happening with everyone else…

Like today I got a PM and I clicked it and read it and then when I went back to the forums it still said I had 1 new PM so then I went back and nope it’s the same PM, and then I go back to the forums and it says I have 1 more new PM and I go back yea no it’s still the same PM it just won’t get marked as read. :mad:

And then sometimes if I read the last post in a thread on my subscribed threads list and I post in it, and then I go back to the subscribed threads list, it doesn’t show my post sometimes until I refresh the page like 3 times and it doesn’t say I have the last post in the thread either.

It’s just being wierd. Somebody please fix it. :<

seems like its some problem wih your pc, must have virus and trojans in it, send it to me and I will try to fix it, if i cant fix it I will throw it away and u can buy a new pc.

and I dunno if it’s a virus because I seem to only be having problems with GS. I’m on a diff. computer right now so I think it might be something with my computer. What do I do? :frowning:

clean ur temporary internet files and delete cookies… and try again.. :chai:

delete any PM to see if its gone.
Appears to be a bug, caused when mods move someones posts or threads, which send the thread/post owner a PM and mods get an unread one which is actually not a PM sent to them.

no no it’s not just the PM…
none of the recent posts in a thread show up until I click refresh and then all the new ones show up…same for PMs…
very annoying :bummer:

check intenet Temporary files settings, it should be on “automatically”

oh btw i do remember messing with my temp. files a few days ago. was deleting some. oops. :(

go back there, and put it back to Automatic.

It is the browser cache settings, or temporary files settings.. (something something)
dont remember exactly what it is in IE 6.x, coz I am on IE 7.0 now. :chai:

TOOLS/ INTERNET OPTION >> then under >> Browser History (or Browser cache), change the settings for Temporatry files to “AUTOMATIC”.
