My best friend faces so much comments coz of her skin colour. Nothing wrong with her just her skin colour is dark. She got rejected because of her skin colour once or twice now. I feel so bad for her.

I guess the best one I have got so far, we went to a dawat and an uncle goes, MashaAllah dani beta aap itney tandrust ho gaye ho Allah nazar e bad sey bachaye achay lag rahey ho and then he starts to talk about heart problems.
BTW since then i have lost roughly 20lbs

She is a lovely girl, has a good height 5'7, everything is good about her except her skin colour. I have no idea why they are complexed. I was like if I had an older bro I would make her marry my bro llol..

I was in pakistan last month, i went to this market there and i asked the woman at the counter to show me that product. She gave it to me and said "shakal ko kya kia hua hai", i ignored her and she said it again"shakal ki kya halat banai hui hai".. and i was like is she serious what kind of sales person is she.. I just turned and left. Didnt explain that i had acne few months back and im going through the healing phase .. Looser

Well if those people are mentally ill then we got a lot of them.. this practice is rampant in our desi society and it's part of the mentality.. gori chitti lambi bahuwain..
In the context it was said, yes it was. I was conversing with a couple of people and one of them said “you have really good morals and family values, are you Jewish?”…
Like you have to be Jewish to have morals and values. 
I think it might be because Muslims and Jews have so many similarities.

my cousin is quite dark, and she married someone quite fair. now dark girls marrying fair guys is almost a no-no in our society, and she was fine when she was here in the uk, however when she went for a holiday in pakistan with him, people kept mistaking her for his maasi( maid) and were shocked when she said she was his wife...poor girl, who was so confident here, came back from pakiland, with 15 creams to apply to become fairier....she has now developed a complex because of those ***********.
ok this isnt a worse compliment post, but im furious for her so felt like i had to vent.

We stood there dumbfounded for a while.
That too when his own daughter B received this comment years back that upset him and his wife at a party from some woman: B has transformed into a swan from an ugly duckling
Talk about immaturity...karma would have served better in consequential order...clearly he didn't learn manners from his daughter's incident.

MY HUBBY calls me meri goll si mottol si janu......( basically calling me a fatty) , he insists its just a pyar wala word for me.....
