I met my in-laws a couple of months before the wedding since they live in pakistan and couldn’t come for the engagement. So obviously when i met them i was trying to make a good impression and talking to everyone…trying to be “friendly” so they wouldn’t think im some kind of a snob from overseas.
So my SIL goes to me" bhabi i thought mein bohat zada bolti thi lekin app to mujh se bhi zada bolti hain" so much for trying to break the ice!]
