someone gives alot of money-say 50,000 dollars/pounds whatever, into a business, but is down as silent partner…i know that this is someone who doesnt partake in its management or anything, but whats the secuirty here…
would anyone here put in alot of money into a business run by relatives ( not immediate by like rishtedaarrrrr) AND havent signed a contract for it, so bascially uve given this money on TRUST…and thats it..
who would do it…and what are the shortfalls…

Not without a contract, no way, may as well take my money and just throw it in the bin.. I wouldn't do business with my relatives anyway cos some tend to mess u around and take liberties cos they think they can get away with it.. with someone outside family yeah, maybe..
If there's no signed contract what happens if u fall out with them? Not likely they'll want to give u your money if they don't have to..

DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH ANYONE without a written legal contract that spells things out in case of a fall out between partners. Be very careful.
