anybody can find the difference between the two images (surah rum ayat 54 , 30:54), somebody asked me this question few months ago, why this " ضَعْفٍ " has something written on “duaad” and why it is three times(repetition)and i was searching for it and found the difference between the indopak written quran and arabic quran, why damma(paish) on indopak Quran(first image) and why its fattah(zabar) on arabic quran(second image) and found theres a tajweed rule, anybody knows what tajweed rule applies here? And why is the difference ?
Sister … The text you are calling Indopak is called Babl-e-hafs or Kufi and the other Arabic text is called Warsh. That sign on the Dhdawd in the Hafs text is most probably a page footnote. It is not a sign of tajweed. Please look on the border of the pages to verify. It should explain the reason for having a dhamma instead of a fatHa.
In the Hafs style both dhamma and fatha are permissible for the word dhdu’fun and dhda’fun they have the same meaning. The warsh text specifically favours the fatHa. In pronunciation they two words are close because of the dhdawd - that letter forces the fatHa sound to come out slightly like a dhamma especially when a sukun follows in the next letter.

As you may know there are various verbs in Arabic that share common roots. There are two main masadars (verbal nouns) that stem from the root letters - dhdawd - 'ain - fa … one is dhdu’fun/dhda’fun and the other is dhdi’fun … with a kasra. Dhd’ifun is the masdar for the verb idhd’afa or dhd’a’afa - which means doubling and the previous is with meaning weakness …
So how can weakness and doubling be related?
I realised that weakness can also be like fractionating - and doubling can also be seen as splitting - i.e. dividing … in the sense that if you have one cake and divide it by two - you then have two pieces, but each piece is smaller than the whole - the reduction in size is indicative of the weakness and the number of pieces is indicative of the doubling effect.
More in the background is that these came from Qur’aishi (dhamma) dial and the Tamimi (fatHa) dial … Kufis used Qur’aishi dial for the word in the ayat because they favoured the meaning of the dhamma version being based on the body and said that the fatHa version is specifically for the mind and for judgement. The Arabic version of the MusHafs today favour the Tamimi version probably because their linguists are Tamimis.
So here the Hafs text is doing it on meaning whereas the Warsh text is doing it on mashhur of their area … both are allowed.
