in my country...where those cartoons were published...some journalist are protesting claiminf their rights for freedom...some are against those cartoons

It is due to that people usually watch dramas and movies on tv and read news about showbiz in news paper and dont have interest in daily life. If you ask me, I love to watch news channels and halat-e-hazra programs. Because these things really affect our life.
People usaully watch indian dramas :yukh: but I dont find any attraction as I tried to watch. Just bogus stories and characters.
Once a member of wetcanvas typed something about Prophet Mohammad in the same way, I asked the Moderator of that forum to remove the post and warn the member even the Mod is christian and american. But I am not affraid of anyone but Allah.

I was talkin to my parents on the phone yesterday and they said saudi has banned most of the danish products for now. I said it was great, but my dad did make a point by saying that even though its good to teach the danish a lesson, its gonna hurt our muslim people in Denmark and other European countries at the same time. But yea, the saudis even called their ambassador back from Denmark.

there are lots of debats going on the local tv channels here, basically some of the muslim organizations went over to the Islamic Countries and told them about all the publishing of cartoons. This was happened in cph in sept. in a danish newspaper, the case was going on here in denmark, but the muslims made it worse by taking this case to the islamic countries such as SaudiaArabia, it just put more fuel to the fire. The danish gov. was in a middle of solving this issue, and the case was going to the court aswell, but then all the stuff in other countries started happening.
Now things are out of control in cph. I work at two different places, and one can tell from inside that the danes are not so happy , once can see that. All they show on danish channels is muslims blowing and burning up danish embassies, burning danish flags.
So things are getin out of control.

All the Danish products have been taken out of the super markets. There is total ban on its products here in UAE.

but i have seen people Madrasssah ppl who were protesting ,
protesting here in pakistan , i don t know how much of thm have actually read thm adn understand thm ,

My rection was just like tht , when i was there at Magrib prayers at the mosque on the weekend in Islamabad ,
After maqrib Jamaaat prayers , a man Stand up start its speech ,
the five countries of europe spain , denmark , ...............he was telling ,
I havn t listened .......I thouht ...u have to do nothing here ,

The reaction here is fairly strong 2. The Badi Masjid and other smaller masjids have begun protests against the publicationz, I think its so bad what he done! I can’t even express how angry i was after hearing** about this!

When was the Danish govt. in the middle of solving the issue?? Anders Fogh Rasmussen refused to peacefully work things out with other govts, saying there is "freedom of speech", the media can say and do whatever they want. And when was the matter being taken to court?? If I'm not horribly mistaken, Per Stig Møller said himself that the matter COULD have been taken to court but that it wasn't up to the govt. So kindly remind me again, when did the Danish govt make any attempt to solve the issue?! Also, don't you think that other Islamic countries have a right to know how their religion is being treated in other countries?
