I found ‘Heavenly Creatures’ from Peter Jackson quite shocking.
Ametyville Horror is shocking because it was said to be based on a true story too. Later I read it was a hoax? It’s still shocking, because those murders actually did take place, wether or not there really were jins pretending to be the souls of dead people.
Re: What's the most shocking movie you've ever seen?
"The Shape of Things" directed by Neil LaBute.
Starring: Paul Rudd, Rachel Weisz, Rachel Weisz, Gretchen Mol, Frederick Weller.
it is such a twisted story about a relationship in which the girl friend changes her boyfriend from head to toe and it turns out to be well something u'd never expect it to be. such a cruel story with an ending that really shocked me.
Re: What's the most shocking movie you've ever seen?
sadya, gf was doing her masters or was it PHD, one of those and 'he' becomes her thesis. she molds him and controls him n then literally 'displays' him in her presentation for her thesis. its just very disturbing. u have to see it to understand what i am talking about i guess :-/

Shawshank Redemption - Shockingly inspiring…
I have seen both ‘Shape of things’ and ‘Osama’. After watching them, I felt cheated the movie just didn’t live upto any expectations and you learn really nothing. There are some moments in ‘Osama’ where they just force emotions to the viewers. Anyway, that’s just what I think…
Shawshank was one of the movies that really changes you after you watch it and the message of hope and overcoming adversity is a thing to remember…
On a much lighter note, Ocean’s Eleven and Tweleve were pretty funny…shockingly funny
Re: What’s the most shocking movie you’ve ever seen?
The story line of Osama is that in a family father dies and the grandmother, mother of a girl tells her to become a boy and work to make living. They cut her hair and dress her like a boy and the story goes from there…
Re: What's the most shocking movie you've ever seen?
I'd say Exorcist was shocking for it's time because it dealt with a topic that was disturbing. Also the fact that involved a little girl playing the role of a posessed person.
Re: What's the most shocking movie you've ever seen?
I'm confused now. It's been a few years since I've seen either Seven or Fightclub. Which one did I see: a guy befriends another one who introduces him to fighting, their club becomes bigger and bigger. In the end it was himself and the friend didn't even excist.
