Thats a gharara, its still two legged but goes down relatively straighter than the sharara and then is flared out below the knee(and the knee area has some kind of "bail or kaam )The gharara uses up more cloth and has more ghair and pleats and more ofa flare to it. If that makes sense?!
Re: Whats the Difference??
yes that makes sense so the sharara is also two legged BUT the lengha is a skirt right?
Re: Whats the Difference??
yes! the lehnga is a skirt.
Re: Whats the Difference??
Sharara is not two-legged. I think the difference is in the cut.
Re: Whats the Difference??
sharara and lehenga are the same.
both are skirts, one leg.
Re: Whats the Difference??
I always thought a sharara had more gathering and a lengha was more a lined....but that's just the way I describe them.
Re: Whats the Difference??
I guess people consider one legged bottoms sharara too. Technically its two legged and loose like Kareena's
Re: Whats the Difference??
My understanding is that the traditional sharara is one legged.
To modernize the look they made it into two legs, something like what Kareena is wearing above.
Re: Whats the Difference??
shara and lehnga are almost the same. the difference is sharara has less ghair while lehnga has more ghair.. at times sharara is fitted at the waist line while there are many chunnats in lehnga.
