Between these words pyar, ishk (sp)), mohabatt (sp?)?
Is there even a difference… like as in varying levels of intensity?

first stage is .. liking ..
2nd stage is .. feeelin for som1
3nd stage is .. Mohabbit
and with the passage of tim this mohabbit is changed into pyar and ishk is the highest stage or peak ....Us ka bad sirf khuda hota hai and nothin else ...

I think it has to do with your age.

Kid will say, "mujko usay pyar hai."
Adult will say, "muj ko usay ishq hai."
Old dude will say, "Muj ko usay mohabat hai."

Please notice I said, "I think" before half of you flip out like it's the end of the world.

The literal meaning of all 3 words is same, ‘love’. But even Urdu dictionary write another translating word when it translates ‘Ishq’ and that is ‘Passion’

Ishq is like more of reaching another stage of love like what we say in Urdu (dewangi).
