What's the best way to use yogurt hair mask?

What’s the best technique to use a yogurt (dahi) hair mask? How long do you leave it in? How do you wash it out? Has anyone done it and what kind of results did you get?

I didn't like the yogurt hair mask at all...left my hair dry and brittle.

I did, however, try the avocado hair mask and I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvved it!

I throw in everything I can find that's good for my hair:
Avocado
Banana
Egg
Aloe vera (from the plant)
Vitamin E oil
Some people crush biotin tablets as well
If you have reallyyyyy dry and brittle hair which I did at one point you can use avocado oil too - its superrrrrrrrrrrrr moisturizing so not a lot and not every single time
I leave this in my hair for about an hour and then wash out...my hair shines like crazy and feels amazing

Do you wrap your head when the mask is on? Do you wash with shampoo afterwards like normal, or just rinse with water?

Few things to note about this mask:
I wrap my head in a plastic bag because the mixture can drip.
Avocado needs to be ripe so its soft or blended really well.

When you're washing the mixture out, do not use water that is too hot. The egg might start to cook.

Take some shampoo with a bit of water and move the mask first...get it to mix with the shampoo and then rinse it off immediately.

I tried the avocado hair mask and I hated washing it out - maybe the avocados were under-ripe.

I have tried the avocado mask with an under ripe avocado and its not the same because it gets stuckkkk in your hair.
