What's the best free sample you've got at Railway Stations???

Alot of stations in London have events people who give away free samples of new / advertised products. What are the best you’ve had?

I can remember getting:

A world atlas (very good it was)
Large family sized tub Onken yogurts
Philadelphia with Bagel in goody bag
Bounty chocolates
Iced Coffee
Olive Oils
Cornflakes and soya milk (yuck) in a cool bag

That’s all I can remember, but they r out there mostly in the mornings.

P.S I got 2 samples of Comfort fabric freshener in a Makro in pakistan.

  • Those microwaveable burgers…:konfused: I took a couple and gave them to some beggars outside.

  • Starbucks new frapps/coffee samples

  • A CD given to me by a busker, had his music on it… was pretty good.

  • A DVD containing a video “The end is nigh, turn to God and repent”

  • A Hari Krishna book

  • A mini box of Lindt Lindor chocolate :yummy:

Those are the most memorable…

I think I missed all those events, or they thought why waste a free sample on this freeloader.

ADDENDUM: I do remember getting the HAri Krishna book, but the person also asked £10 donation for an AASHRAM for orphans. So technically it wasn’t a freebie.

^ How cute. Now that's a good thing in this heat, would make the travelling experience a lot more pleasant for all if everyone used the stuff.

Another thing I remember is scottish highland mineral water, loads of bottles given out on a hot day.

I went to costco and had the most delicious free veggie lasagne droooooool

Best free samples i have got...

2 full size boxes of jordans country crunch chocolate falvour
Mint aeros
Mini box of cheerios
A red indian music CD- very relaxing
Rubix Cube-very cool but still unsolved

The only thing I got while in London was diet coke :vivo:

There aren’t any railways stations here so samples are given at malls usually …I’ve had

Cinnzeo/cinnabon bites
tomato bruschetta
Chocolates- various, best was Maya’s :yummy:
Coffee/ drinks
Krispy Kreme donuts

Most common in malls here is perfumes..they don’t give em out as such just spray em on..
