That everyone is going berserk about it. Is it just coz it has some supposedly extremely well trained singer so that people are awed into believing that the stuff MUST be good, like technically and all, even if they can’t figure it for themselves? I found Ankhon Key Saagar totally bland. Akhian was boring. There songs are pretty mediocre.
So what’s so great about it?

If it was just about technical stuff then MHB would have enjoyed a lot more success then Fuzon. Fuzon have a very talented vocalist and a very good guitarist. Shafqat is not just a powerful vocalist but also knows the art to compose good commercial numbers. Although personally I believe Shallum is not utilized enough since he is a much better and powerful guitarist that the little riffs in Fuzon's song lets one hear but overall they have put togather a pretty good package.

my brother is trying to learn the Khamaj guitar riffs and he said it is pretty tough stuff!
Depends on your taste in music. I think Khamaj is SIMPLY BRILLIANT!

Yep Shallum's guitars in Strings and Najam's songs are simply amazing. However he has done a nice job in Fuzon too, but agreed that he has a lot more talent than what he can utlize in Fuzon.

A lot of people were talking about fusion of eastern and western styles of music when these guys came. However, in my opinion, they were the first one to actually come out with something significant that had good balance and mix of both styles.
Whats the song that goes like ghoom ghoom bersey badil or something? I like both the riff and vocals in that.
Accha, does anyone know what happened to the guy who played that totally awesome riff in Najam's out-of-this-world and way-way-ahead-of-time song called mein so raha hoon (the screamy vocals one .... is this correct? Gosh, I cant remember anything. Seems I just woke up from deep slumber). Did he make any more music and was further involved in a band? What's his name?

they are owesom !!! i mean the singer is prety nice .. the music correlates really good .. though vidoz xept ANKHIA were gay ! but over all they are baaaaaad !!!
ohhh and i saw BUT from EP saying that FUZON IS NOTHING .. THEY ARE LAME AND CANT SING lol

If guitar alone was the answer that MHB, AaroH and Mizraab would have enjoed a lot more commercial success as well and along with that Amir Zaki would also have sold millions of copies of his records. Shallum is a good guitarist but we have better guitar players in the country. As far as Shallum's riffs in Strings songs, they were all pretty easy riffs he even admitted himself that he was surprised that he was even called up for those and thought Bilal should have and could have done those himself. In anycase I think they blend east and west togather very nicely from a commercial prospective. In the end I still think it's not just one thing that puts them high on commercial success it's just that they gel togather well.
