Khair, the thing is, maybe the answer differs by gender too? I think desi girls in general are so accomplished these days. On average, it is much easier to find pretty, educated, sensible desi girls in Pakistan or elsewhere. So guys (and their parents) have it easier. On the other hand, it’s a lot harder for a girl to find an educated, decent looking guy who isn’t also a d-bag.
Again, everyone’s experience is different. And there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question.
